Ep #57: An Introvert’s Game Plan to Successful Client Events with Bonnie Mullinax

A friend of mine of nearly 20 years, my next guest on The Richard Robbins Show is a master of client events and has found massive success in maintaining a small, yet loyal group of employees.

Bonnie Mullinax has been practicing real estate for over 32 years in Cartersville, Georgina, located 40 minutes north of Atlanta. In this small town of 125,000 people, Bonnie has made a name for herself as one of the area’s top real estate professionals.

“Being young and naive and knowing nothing about real estate, I went, sure! There was no plan, no anything.” While her career may have began on a whim, her longevity is solely due to the fact that she has built a strong business with loyalty being its top attribute.

As a self proclaimed introvert, Bonnie wouldn’t strike me as the person to want to throw outstanding client events. She tells me her inspiration is simple, “People like to give but they don’t know how to give.”

Her secret for younger agents beginning their real estate career, “If I could do it all over again, from the very beginning, I would spend more time nurturing our past clients, spheres of influence, current clients and anyone who has ever referred me. That’s how we do it now.”

In this episode of The Richard Robbins Show, Bonnie and I sit down to talk about how powerful client events can build a transformative relationship. We touch on how building a loyal team is crucial to successful growth, why bigger isn’t always better and how kindness, acceptance and generosity can take you further in life than anything else.
